The Have you Tried Jesus ministry is based on another scripture as stated above. The children of the world are using mass media to plant seeds in us to buy their products and or to change our beliefs. It is why the children of this world are shrewder than the children of light. The scriptures convey that we are to make wise use of the financial opportunities we have, not to earn a ticket to heaven, but to help people find Jesus.

Decades ago, the Lord planted a Godly seed in a woman who raised seven girls who married and had families at young ages. The daughters would call upon this mother to vent and ask for advice concerning their domestic struggles. When the mother gave advice on which they disagreed, they would argue to prove that their way was the answer. Exhausting all worldly answers the mother would finally drop that wonderful seed, “Have you tried Jesus"?

This question led to exasperation on the daughters end as they wanted "real" answers now, not this "Jesus guy" who they did not know or trust. The daughters would quickly find a way to end the phone call once "that" name surfaced.

Years later one of the daughters who got to know and trust this "Jesus guy" told her husband this story. Her husband a newly born Christian, found the story inspiring yet humorous. He said, "This mother was a powerful woman of wisdom as she killed two birds with one stone when she said those four powerful words. She not only gave them the REAL answer, but she also figured out how to get them off the phone!” The daughter was only too glad to share in his laughter as she knew it to be true.

Weeks later the husband revealed what he believed was a vision from the Lord. He said that ever since that story was shared with him it has stayed on his mind.. He said to his wife, “What a powerful and simple way to drop the seed of Christ. He said he was having visions of an RV with “Have You Tried Jesus” written on its sides and traveling to cities across the country and handing out T-shirts with those four powerful words engraved on them.

This was the vision that launched the Have You Tried Jesus Ministry. In 2010 the Florida non-profit was created. It is now a 501(c)(3) Tax ID 99-0804000.

The Bible offers profound insights into the concept of “seed,” with 254 verses spanning 43 books and 337 occurrences throughout its text. These references to seed often symbolize growth, faith, and the promises of God, illustrating the spiritual and physical significance of planting and nurturing. We are praying that these first nine short video seeds will multiply into hundreds, perhaps thousands, as the body of Christ joins in sharing the name of Jesus to the world through all media outlets.
